Kevin Cherwa is the Co-Founder of The Verndari Group and a seasoned security expert with over two decades of high-level experience spanning law enforcement, military tactical training, and global executive protection. A former Master Police Officer and SWAT Assistant Team Leader, he has protected Fortune 100 executives and world leaders, including serving as a Special Deputy U.S. Marshal for the World Bank Group President. Currently, Kevin leverages his extensive background in high-threat operations to provide specialized consultancy and counterterrorism training for the U.S. Department of State’s Global Anti-Terrorism Assistance program.

Shawn Simmons, Co-Founder
Shawn R. Simmons Jr. is the Co-Founder of The Verndari Group and a highly decorated Command Master Chief (E-9) in the U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). He possesses extensive command-level leadership experience, having served as a Senior Enlisted Advisor overseeing the training and operational readiness for all East Coast EOD teams. Throughout his career, Shawn has been forward-deployed in support of various Special Operations Task Forces, developing a deep expertise in risk mitigation and crisis leadership within high-threat environments.
